JACOB STUCKELMAN
Producer
Jacob Stuckelman is a theatrical producer and manager dedicated to bringing new, bold, and emotionally resonant stories to the stage. Jacob focuses on sharing new and challenging stories that explore and excavate the darker corners of the human experience to make sense of them. Jacob is the CEO of Regular People, a creative studio handling producing, marketing, and general management all under one roof.
He most recently led the production of Bubba Weiler’s Well, I’ll Let You Go at The Space at Irondale. The play was critically praised by The New York Times, which called it "a deeply American play about loss, regret, and what makes a meaningful life" (Laura Collins-Hughes). Jacob also served as lead producer of Ken Urban’s Danger and Opportunity, directed by Jack Serio. The production received the 2025 Special Drama Desk Award, recognized "for bringing a genuinely serious, deeply moving consideration of the messy implications of a three-way relationship in an imaginatively immersive way that made such a small-scale story feel like a meaningful event."
Jacob is currently working on the stage adaptation of Lore Segal’s acclaimed novel Other People’s Houses, adapted by Emily Feldman and directed by Daniel Aukin.
He also recently produced Samantha Hurley’s I’m Gonna Marry You Tobey Maguire at the cell theatre in Chelsea, New York. The production went on to be acquired by Concord Theatricals for exclusive worldwide licensing and publishing via the Samuel French imprint. The play made its UK premiere at Southwark Playhouse Borough for an eight-week run.
As a co-producer, Jacob has contributed to the Tony Award-winning revival of Parade, Maria Friedman’s celebrated production of Merrily We Roll Along, and Maybe Happy Ending, starring Darren Criss and Helen J. Shen. Past credits include Sea Wall / A Life.
Outside of the theatre, Jacob worked as Consulting Producer on Broadway Rising, a feature-length documentary chronicling Broadway’s return after the COVID-19 shutdown. Directed by Amy Rice and produced in collaboration with Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Justin Mikita, Park Pictures, Boardwalk Pictures, and Station 10, the film is available on Amazon Prime.
Previously, Jacob served as General Manager at BOND Theatrical for three years, working with major national tours and Broadway productions including Girl From the North Country, SIX, Moulin Rouge!, The Who’s Tommy, Phantom of the Opera, & Juliet, Company, Life of Pi, MJ The Musical, Shucked, and TINA: The Tina Turner Musical.
